Lisa Foley


Lisa has always derived great pleasure in planning events for her friends and family. However, she did not start out with event planning in her career plan! After graduating from college, she moved from Michigan to Colorado and worked in the field of tax accounting, earning her CPA and an MBA along the way. She finally realized that her love of organizing events wasn’t fully being utilized in the accounting field and recognized that her event planning talents might be better employed elsewhere – in the professional field of event and wedding coordination. She then formed a wedding and event planning business that quickly became one of Denver’s premier wedding planning companies.

After relocating to Traverse City with her husband and infant son in 2004, Lisa began working with Events By The Bay as a Wedding Coordinator. In 2007, she added Wedding Officiant to her resume and loves creating and performing ceremonies. Lisa also works as a Sales Rep for Grand Traverse Woman Magazine. Her family has grown since moving to Northern Michigan - she and Jim added a daughter to their family with another child due in January 2008.

Lisa is a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants and is the only professional bridal consultant with ABC in the Traverse City area. She thoroughly enjoys working out all of the details with brides and grooms to help create a perfect, stress-free wedding!
